Master P Uses New NCAA Rules to Help His Son Ink Historic $2M Endorsement Deal - Bshani Radio7/5/2021 Hercy Miller, the son of rapper and entrepreneur Master P, has inked a historic multi-million dollar endorsement deal. He is one of the first student-athletes to take advantage of the new NCAA rule that allows athletes in college to profit off their own name, image, and likeness.
Hercy, who is set to play college basketball at Tennessee State Univesity, has signed a 4-year deal worth $2 million to become a brand ambassador for Web Apps America, a tech company specializing in web, mobile, and software solutions committed to supporting HBCUs in the US. Master P apparently started negotiating deals for his son earlier this year but waited until the new NCAA rule would take effect on July 1 to finally seal the deal. He told TMZ Sports, "It's incredible. This is gonna change the way college athletes want to stay in school." "I'm proud of my son for going to an HBCU and this is like playing in the pros now," he continued. He worked so hard and they say that when you do right, the blessings will come to you. He's been doing right, he's an A student and that's why this company did this because they wanted a deal with a student-athlete from an HBCU and when they researched him he was the top [HBCU] athlete... This is gonna open the doors for so many athletes." Moreover, reports said Hercy could be the highest-paid college basketball player in history. Now with millions of dollars as a 19-year old, Hercy said he plans to give back to the community before rewarding himself with a new Tesla. "I learned from my dad, I'm gonna start off by giving back to the community and everyone around me," he said. "I have a camp on July 21. I'm giving back to the kids and giving out school supplies."
